Approaches to Therapy

A loosely wooded field with fog between the trees and the sun behind

Why not go into the forest for a time, literally? Sometimes a tree tells you more than can be read in books.

Carl Jung:  Letters, Vol I, 1973

My therapy with you may include Jungian therapy. We may talk about your conscious and unconscious relationships with self, others and world. Our work together may also include Ecotherapy, in which I'd invite you to become more aware of how your relationship with the more-than-human world is affecting your sense of well-being.  This might involve you spending time outdoors, ideally in an environment like a park, forest, beach, garden, etc., paying close attention to how your body and mind/emotions are reacting to what you are encountering. I might employ Tapping (also known as EFT), which is known to help with stress, anxiety, and trauma, or Gestalt, Focusing or CBT, if I think they fit your needs.  You are the expert on YOU, and so you will ultimately make the decision about which techniques are most helpful.
